About this project, myself and all around
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste it, to experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for never and richer experience.”
This is a start-up project to reach a bigger long-term goal: The creation of an online-platform, about various coffee making methods, coffee moments, coffee travel… The main goal of this project is to exchange knowledge and skills related to the international specialty coffee culture. Via this platform, I not only publish blogs and vlogs, but I also aim to connect ‘Home Baristas’ from different walks of life. Later, I will offer some online coffee drinking and coffee making workshops, coffee tours and also specally designed coffee equipment. All, the based on my experiences.
My background skills
I love coffee and enjoy to experience it with all my senses. My favorite coffees are hand-brewed because I like the aesthetics and natural simplicity that is associated with it. Simple things, like heartfelt daily rituals, can make a big difference in our lives.
My main inspiration to create the design and write blogs about coffee is: “Coffee preparation, drinking is not competition, same as life”. Preparation of coffee and drinking alone should be a pleasure of the moment. Not trying to be better than others. I am trying to propagate more style, that people should be prepared and drink coffee for the moment. I have a lot inspired by Asia and Central America, during my trips, when I have a chance to meet very interesting and inspiring people, who are totally passionate about coffee. For them is the coffee lifestyle, not just some “Needs”
For years, I have trotted the globe studying the beauty of coffee culture, mindful preparation techniques and joyous rituals. My travels, experiments and accumulated knowledge have all poured into the BAYAWE project —a website that I hope will prove an inspiration to both home-brewers and general coffee-fan(atic)s. It’s been a labor of love, compiling this compendium, and nothing pleases me more than sharing stories, knowledge and passion with both home-brewers and general coffee-fan. I truly believe that art can change the world, so why not begin by elevating this beautiful beverage and the culture associated with it?
Who I am
A barista and lifelong connoisseur, I’ve spent years studying the art of coffee culture around the world. I have more than 15 years of experience working as a barista. For while was running a small own coffee shop, where I also organized several coffee workshops and events. I have a pass the coffee shop to somewhere else. I had feeling, I need to travel and known more about various culture, meet new people, visit other coffee shops and learn more this way. I like travel and discover new culture. Learn the skills, take photos and look around for new ideas, inspiration. All of this I would like also share with other open mind people.
Let’s enjoy life! Let’s be creative!
